Steady. Stylish. Simple.
ROTO Nautica proudly introduced the HYDRA 460 to the international audience at its world premiere during BOOT Düsseldorf 2026, reinforcing the brand’s position as a forward-thinking boatbuilder with deep expertise in advanced polymer engineering.
Designed and developed entirely in ROTO Nautica’s in-house development department, the HYDRA 460 represents the next evolutionary step in the Hydra range. It combines refined hydrodynamics, exceptional stability, and a fresh, modern design to deliver a confident and comfortable on-water experience—ideal for both new boaters and experienced users alike.

Smart Dimensions. Efficient Performance.
With a length of 4.6 meters, a 1.8-meter beam, and a lightweight construction of just 320 kg, the HYDRA 460 is engineered for impressive performance even with smaller outboard engines. This approach significantly reduces fuel consumption and operating costs while maintaining agile handling, quick response, and reassuring stability.
The hull design has been optimized to deliver excellent balance and smooth behavior in a wide range of conditions, making the HYDRA 460 a reliable and approachable platform for leisure use, training, rental fleets, and light professional applications.
Ergonomic Layout for Everyday Use
The HYDRA 460 features a carefully planned ergonomic layout that enhances weight distribution, driver protection, and overall usability. A generously sized two-person helm seat with a flip-up backrest and longitudinal adjustment ensures comfort and optimal driving position for different users.
Practicality is at the core of the design, with dedicated storage compartments for the anchor, ropes, and fenders. An optional sundeck box provides additional storage while doubling as a relaxation area, and for extended cruising range, an optional 50-liter fuel tank is available.

Refined Simplicity on the Water
Built on a proven platform, the HYDRA 460 focuses on what truly matters: stability, efficiency, and simplicity. Enhanced ergonomics, intuitive handling, and a clean visual identity make the boat easy to operate, safe to enjoy, and appealing to a broad range of users—from first-time owners to professional operators.
“The HYDRA 460 is engineered to be steady, stylish, and simple, delivering a refined on-water experience. True refinement is defined not by complexity, but by stability and confident control on the water. I am confident that driving a Hydra will bring a smile to your face,”
— Matjaž Pavlinjek, CEO of ROTO Nautica

Advanced Polymer Technology as Standard
Like all boats in the ROTO Nautica portfolio, the HYDRA 460 is manufactured using rotational moulding multi-layer technology. This advanced process delivers exceptional structural rigidity, high impact resistance, and long-term durability against corrosion and UV exposure—while remaining fully recyclable, reflecting ROTO Nautica’s commitment to sustainable production.
