Made in Slovenia Mark of Excellence 2025
The Hydra 530 boat has been awarded the Made in Slovenia Mark of Excellence 2025 by the expert committee of the Center for Creativity. This distinction recognizes exceptional products by Slovenian companies and creators that excel in design quality, functional innovation, and sustainable development.
This year, the public call received 211 applications, and Hydra 530 received one of the highest scores, recognized as a vessel that combines modern design, innovative functionality, and sustainable development, while aligning with the values of contemporary and responsible design.

Innovative construction with longitudinal profiles and a stepped hull geometry,
Advanced three-layer materials, providing:
Reduced carbon footprint,
Long service life and lightweight structure,
High impact resistance, UV stability, and corrosion resistance,
100% recyclability at the end of its lifecycle.
The award highlights Hydra 530 as a product that is both locally grounded and globally relevant, exemplifying excellence in design, innovation, and sustainable development within the Slovenian marine industry.
Golden national award for innovations for Hydra 530
In 2025 on the national stage, the Roto Nautica Hydra 530 has been awarded the Gold Recognition of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia for Best Innovation.
At the regional level, the Hydra 530 also claimed the Gold Award from the Pomurje Chamber of Commerce for Best Innovation. The ceremony took place during the annual conference of the Pomurje Quality Association, held under the theme “Innovative Technologies and Materials.”
These honors highlight Hydra 530’s innovative spirit, cutting-edge design, and the drive to push boundaries in the boating industry.
Best of Boats - Best for beginners: Hydra 530
The Roto Nautica Hydra 530 has set sail into the spotlight in 2025 – nominated for the BOB Award 2025 (Best of Boats) in the Best for Beginners category. This highly respected European award is one of the industry’s true benchmarks of excellence.
After nearly 300 sea trials carried out by a 16-member international jury, the Hydra 530 has earned its place among the finalists – a recognition that speaks volumes about its design, performance, and accessibility for new boaters.
The grand reveal of the winners will take place on November 27th at Boat & Fun Berlin. Until then, we’re proud to see the Hydra 530 riding the wave of success.
Golden national award for innovations for Hydra 450
In 2020, the HYDRA 450 boat received the prestigious Golden National Innovation Award. This recognition highlighted ROTO's significant technological advancements in the production of polyethylene boats.
The HYDRA 450 is constructed using a unique three-layer rotational moulding process, resulting in a lightweight yet exceptionally rigid hull. Its design incorporates longitudinal box profiles that prevent hull deformation at high speeds, enhancing stability and safety. These innovations contribute to the boat's excellent maneuverability and impact resistance, making it suitable for various applications, including fishing, rescue operations, and recreational use.
This award underscores ROTO's commitment to innovation and excellence in boat manufacturing.
