The 16-member international jury evaluated nearly 300 boats during the season, and the Hydra 530 stood out for its advanced construction, innovative engineering, and exceptional on-water performance.

Being ranked among the Best for Beginners category highlights the Hydra 530’s stability, safety, ergonomics, and ease of handling, all crucial factors for both new and experienced boaters.
Competing against established European models, the Hydra 530 proved its capabilities in a field where performance, user experience, and reliability are paramount. This ranking demonstrates that Slovenian engineering can hold its own against global competitors, providing a remarkable balance of accessibility and advanced design.
INNOVATIONS THAT IMPRESS EVEN THE MOST DEMANDING TESTERS
The Hydra 530 is the first monolithic polyethylene boat produced using rotational molding technology with an integrated Air Step hull. This design reduces hydrodynamic drag, allows the boat to plane at lower speeds, lowers fuel consumption, increases responsiveness and ensures stable handling even in sharp turns, an advantage for both combustion and electric propulsion.
Its longitudinal kiss-off profiles provide exceptional hull stiffness - a rare attribute in this size and price class - ensuring torsional rigidity without lateral flexing, resulting in precise handling and outstanding stability during aggressive manoeuvres.
Its three-layer polyethylene structure provides high impact resistance, low weight, UV stability, and full recyclability.
