Diving Day
It was early, the kind of cold that wakes you up fast. Felix, the man who rented out the Korkyra 650 Pro, had already prepped the boat before the divers arrived. The front-loading platform was down, making it a breeze to load gear and tanks.
Two divers, both experienced and wrapped in layers before they’d slip into wetsuits, climbed aboard. They exchanged a few words with Felix, who gave a nod and started the engine. The sea was calm, a silver-blue sheet under the pale sky, and the boat cut across it smoothly.
They reached the dive site—a rocky reef teeming with marine life. The divers geared up and, thanks to the platform, entered the water without fuss. After an hour underwater, they surfaced, grinning, and climbed back on board just as easily.
Felix passed them hot tea from a thermos as they peeled off wetsuits and laughed about the curious octopus they met below. The cold air didn’t bother them anymore—the sea had worked its magic.
