The ROTO 450s boat was presented at the World Expo Dubai between 9 and 15 January 2022, where it attracted the attention of the Malaysian delegation from the Ministry of Tourism.

As we have already written in the article, where sheikhs in Dubai were impressed by the boat, this time the ROTO 450s boat again attracted the most attention at the Slovenian pavilion.

Enthusiasm about innovative Slovenian technology was shown by the delegation of Malaysia, more precisely by the Malaysian delegation from the Ministry of Tourism, who spent the most time watching the presentation of the motor boat ROTO 450s during his visit to the Slovenian pavilion.

The ROTO 450s motorboat , developed with a Norwegian distributor, is a real hit in the Scandinavian market. With more than 450 sold last year, the boat is currently presented at Expo Dubai.

The 4.5-meter motor boat ROTO 450, made of polymer composite in a special 3-layer sandwich technology, is entirely manufactured in Prekmurje, Slovenia. ROTO 450e, powered with electric motor will be presented to the general public from 10 to 17 January 2022 at the week of electric mobility at the EXPO Dubai in the Slovenian pavilion.

Why is the boat practically unsinkable, fast, compact and extremely stable?

The new ROTO 450 motorboat has all these characteristics. It is made with the innovative three-layer rotomoulding technology, which enables the production of the entire shell in one piece. This provides great stability, rigidity and impact resistance.

The Slovenian Underwater Rescue Service recently successfully completed testing of the boat in the most extreme conditions – icy and snowy areas. In these areas, other such vessels are significantly less suitable. Firefighters found the boat extremely usefull.

The enthusiasm for the new Slovenian technology in boat development has also attracted the world’s largest yacht manufacturers.

The innovative ROTO 450s motorboat will be presented at EXPO Dubai from 9-15 January 2022. The ROTO 450s is produced with rotational moulding technology. The boat is built entirely in one piece using innovative three-layer technology.

This multi-layered technology ensures ROTO 450s the exceptional rigidity of the hull despite its low weight, high capacity and low impact sensitivity. The material is UV stable. Maintenance is easy and inexpensive. Without engine, the boat weighs 210-230 kg. ROTO 450s is 2.50 m long and is available in 4 different colours.

Boat made for miltifunctional use

The ROTO 450s is ideal motorboat for those who are looking for a quality and affordable multi-purpose boat. Its innovative and unique design ensures excellent all-round usability. From daily trips on the sea, rivers or lakes, to a fishing boat, a service boat for marinas or a work boat for lifeguards.

ROTO 450s is available in Basic, Fishing, Family, Rescue and e-POWERED, versions, which differ in the range of accessories. In addition to the quality basic equipment, a wide range of additional accessories is also available. These include a specially designed 35 litre fuel tank, boat trailer, upholstery, bimini, ladder, A-bow with backrest and navigation light.

A motorboat that is friendly to nature

At the end of its lifetime, a ROTO 450s motorboat can be fully recycled and the recycled material can be used to make new products. For particularly eco-conscious customers, the ROTO 450s “Recycling” is also available. This version of the boat is made of 100% recycled polyethylene.

30 November 2020 Brdo, Slovenia – The company ROTO d.o.o. received the national golden award for the best innovations 2020 awarded by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia (GZS). Awarded was our innovative polyethylene (PE) boat ROTO 450s, which is manufactured in 3 – layer sandwich technology by roto moudling process. The GZS awards for innovation are the highest awards for innovative achievements of Slovenian companies. This is the first national golden award for company Roto or any company in Pomurje.

The innovative motor boat ROTO 450s was developed for the very demanding Scandinavian market, where nautic and shipbuilding have a long tradition and consequently also high requirements for construction and quality of motor boats. After a very favorable response in the Scandinavian market, the boat was also extremely well received on the global market.

The essential advantage of the ROTO 450s motor boat, which made in one piece, is that it is produced by a roto moulding process in 3-layer (sandwich) technology. The advantage of this unique technology is low weight, exceptional strength and impact resistance.

The innovative construction of the hull of the boat, which is made with a longitudinal closed box profile, prevents the boat from twisting even at high speeds and thus ensures more maneuverability and stability, and even a high degree of security and safety for users. At Roto, we are very proud of this patent, as we were the first to use such a construction concept globally, which, among other things, provides key competitive advantages compared to inflatable boats.

The basic characteristics of the boat are: length 4.5 m, width 1.8 m; class C / D, maximum load capacity: 677 kg, maximum engine power up to 40 hp.

The ROTO 450s boat is intended for everyone who wants an affordable, high-quality, multi-purpose boat that does not require much maintenance. Its design provides excellent all-round use, from day trips at sea, river or lake, as a fishing vessel, a service boat in marinas or as a working boat for lifeguards.

The basic version ROTO 450s BASIC is intended primarily for companies engaged in boat rental. The ROTO 450s FISHING is intended for all fishing enthusiasts and, in addition to the rear bench, also includes a front hood and an ergonomic swivel fishing seat. The ROTO 450s FAMILY is a family version of the boat with a sporty soul and can be optionally equipped with many extra accessories, such as sun deck, high quality sun canopy, ladder, A-frame … ROTO 450s RESCUE is designed as a rescue boat. For calm waters, where petrol-powered drives are not allowed, we have developed the ROTO 450e POWERED with electric drive.

In addition to high quality basic accessories, customers can aslo choose from a wide range of accessories, such as a specially designed boat transport trailer, upholstery, a ladder for entering the water, a navigation light, a sun canopy, an A-frame with backrest and a navigation light.
