30 November 2020 Brdo, Slovenia – The company ROTO d.o.o. received the national golden award for the best innovations 2020 awarded by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia (GZS). Awarded was our innovative polyethylene (PE) boat ROTO 450s, which is manufactured in 3 – layer sandwich technology by roto moudling process. The GZS awards for innovation are the highest awards for innovative achievements of Slovenian companies. This is the first national golden award for company Roto or any company in Pomurje.
The innovative motor boat ROTO 450s was developed for the very demanding Scandinavian market, where nautic and shipbuilding have a long tradition and consequently also high requirements for construction and quality of motor boats. After a very favorable response in the Scandinavian market, the boat was also extremely well received on the global market.
The essential advantage of the ROTO 450s motor boat, which made in one piece, is that it is produced by a roto moulding process in 3-layer (sandwich) technology. The advantage of this unique technology is low weight, exceptional strength and impact resistance.
The innovative construction of the hull of the boat, which is made with a longitudinal closed box profile, prevents the boat from twisting even at high speeds and thus ensures more maneuverability and stability, and even a high degree of security and safety for users. At Roto, we are very proud of this patent, as we were the first to use such a construction concept globally, which, among other things, provides key competitive advantages compared to inflatable boats.
The basic characteristics of the boat are: length 4.5 m, width 1.8 m; class C / D, maximum load capacity: 677 kg, maximum engine power up to 40 hp.
The ROTO 450s boat is intended for everyone who wants an affordable, high-quality, multi-purpose boat that does not require much maintenance. Its design provides excellent all-round use, from day trips at sea, river or lake, as a fishing vessel, a service boat in marinas or as a working boat for lifeguards.
The basic version ROTO 450s BASIC is intended primarily for companies engaged in boat rental. The ROTO 450s FISHING is intended for all fishing enthusiasts and, in addition to the rear bench, also includes a front hood and an ergonomic swivel fishing seat. The ROTO 450s FAMILY is a family version of the boat with a sporty soul and can be optionally equipped with many extra accessories, such as sun deck, high quality sun canopy, ladder, A-frame … ROTO 450s RESCUE is designed as a rescue boat. For calm waters, where petrol-powered drives are not allowed, we have developed the ROTO 450e POWERED with electric drive.
In addition to high quality basic accessories, customers can aslo choose from a wide range of accessories, such as a specially designed boat transport trailer, upholstery, a ladder for entering the water, a navigation light, a sun canopy, an A-frame with backrest and a navigation light.
Due to its attractive design, excellent sailing properties, optimal use of space and low maintenance costs, we believe that the innovative ROTO 450 s motor boat will set new standards in the development and production of PE boats.
